Sermon Title: “In the Name of Protection, We Prune the Tree”

(Excerpt from a Sunday Service at the Sanctified Chamber of Legislative Obedience)

Beloved Congregants of Collapse,

Today we gather in reverence for another miraculous act of streamlining within the garden of democracy 🌳. You see, democracy was once a wild, unruly tree—branches reaching in every direction, leaves of all shades, names, languages, and national origins. Some said it bore fruit. Others said it simply offered shade. But either way, it made a mess. It let anyone in.

And what do we do with trees like that? We prune them ✂️. We shape them. We snip away what doesn’t serve the root system—or worse, what grows without permission. And if the roots begin to rot in the process? Blessed be the compost 💩🥕. Because when it comes to elections, neatness counts more than access. After all, clarity isn’t found in complexity—it’s found in control 🧾.

This week, the faithful brought forth the holy legislation known as the SAVE Act 🙏. What a name. So strong. So sterile. So devoid of nuance. It promises salvation—but only for the saved. It does not save everyone, only the already-verified. The conveniently documented. The properly filed. The ones with a scanner, a middle manager, and a quiet sense of superiority 💼📠.

It tells us it’s about election security 🇺🇸 🔐, but what it actually secures is exclusion. 🚫 It’s a divine test—only now the test is harder, and the answers change based on your ZIP code, your birth certificate, or whether your name sounds easy to pronounce on the Senate floor. Immigrants. First-gen voters. The young, the elderly, the under-documented. Your mom. Your grandma. Your daughter 👩‍🦳👩👧.

Blessed be! ✨🙌✨ Blessed be!

This is not voter suppression. This is strategic exhaustion 😮‍💨. A miracle of modern disenfranchisement wrapped in the language of protection. Let us rejoice in how it quietly sows doubt, elevates suspicion, and builds a barrier that feels like a blessing—especially to those already inside 🏛️🪪.

This isn’t chaos. This is conviction. This is collapse with structure 🏗️. We don’t need riots when we have regulation. We don’t need bans when we have bureaucracy. We don’t need fire and fury—we have printers and patience.

Because in the world of The 9 Commandments, we do not dismantle democracy with force—we simply make participation more exclusive. We lift the drawbridge and call it safeguarding. We tighten access and say we’re preserving trust. We redefine democracy, one convenient barrier at a time 🏰.

Smile at those who wonder why it just got harder for their neighbor to vote. Tell them it’s for their own good 😇. Then hand them a Doctrine Dart™ and remind them: The end is in the air 🕊️✈️💸.

Amen.

“After my name didn’t match the registrar’s spreadsheet, I was denied a ballot—but granted something even better: clarity. This CD set taught me that democracy is loud, but suppression? Suppression is soothing. Now I just press play, turn inwards, and let the algorithm decide. 5 stars. 9 commandments. Zero complaints.”
